When Kubernetes is the right call

If you need independent scaling, frequent releases, or multi-service estates that outgrew a single VM and a shell script, managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE) is usually the answer. If you have three services and a quiet traffic curve, we will say so — and recommend something smaller.

Do we need Kubernetes?

Only if horizontal scale, frequent releases, or multi-service ops justify it. We assess the workload first. Small estates often do better on managed containers or a simpler host model.

How long before the team can run it?

With handover and runbooks, most teams are productive in a few weeks — not months of theory. We stay for the messy first production incidents if you want a retainer.

What does it cost to run?

It depends on traffic and how wasteful the first design was. We optimise for cost after reliability: right-size, reserved baseline, spot for overflow where safe.
